Sound Coding Strategies and Signal  Processing Methods for  Cochlear Implants and  Hearing Aids
Teaching Activities 2011-2012

Master/Bachelor Thesis
If you are interested on  signal processing, music perception and hearing devices (hearing aids, cochlear implants, etc) and electrophysiology of the auditory nerve please do not doubt to contact me, I am looking for motivated students.

Master Thesis Proposal: Design, development and evaluation of a PC based hearing aid. In this project you will create a hearing aid based on Matlab. You will use perfect reconstruction filterbanks and you will invesitagate the best amplification rule. Finally you will conduct experiments assessing music perception and speech intelligibility with hearing impaired users to assess the efficacy of your matlab implementation.
If you have good skills in Matlab and signal processing please contact me!
